Dead Bruv’s Meatbags is a PFP Solana-based NFT Collection. They’ve just kicked off a campaign to buy a decommissioned Cold War Cecilia Castle bunker in Rutland, England. The project will begin minting these tokens on April 21, producing 100,000 in total. We see the future of our bunker as a community governed, creative space. Through this effort, we hope to bring NFT fans together in a one-of-a-kind, in-person experience.

Token Launch and Community Membership

Ethical NFT Meatbags will initially mint an edition of 100,000 tokens, each priced at $14.10. 000 of the new tokens will be airdropped to current holders of Meatbags NFTs. The other 90,000 tokens will be obtainable by the general public through an auction. If this buyout goes through, the Meatbags crew members will be able to move into the elite "Billionaire Bunker Club." This membership tribe runs as a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).

Bunker Details and History

The nuclear bunker, built in 1960, sits on 1.4 acres next to a decommissioned reservoir. Deactivated in 1968, this facility was on the center stage of the nuclear Cold War. It was the last of 1,500 sites focused on detecting nuclear explosions and tracking radioactive fallout. The bunker's history adds a layer of intrigue to the project, sparking the community's imagination.

DAO Governance and Potential Uses

The “Billionaire Bunker Club” DAO will give Meatbags holders a way to vote as a community on the best uses for the bunker. Proposed uses include a luxury survival resort and members-only facility featuring a “Doomsday DJ.” This participatory and decentralized governance model from the start has created space for the broader community to weigh in on and help shape the bunker’s future.
